- Your own website
- southaustralia.com
- Totaltravel.com
- Visitor Information Centres
- Third party websites, booking centres and travel wholesalers
- ConnectSA tourism businesses (affiliates)
Your own website
We encourage you to place a book now button on your own website. If a potential customer has found your website, give them every opportunity to book in real time, online.
Quick tips:
Ensure your Book Now button/link is designed to stand out, but fits with the design of your site.
Make sure the Book Now facility is part of the main navigation so that it is always accessible to the consumer.
Enable the consumer to view the button/link without having to scroll on any page.
Be consistent as to where the book now button is located on your site e.g top left of page for each page.
Add the Book Now facility to your Contact Us or Enquiries page as another option, the consumer will select what best suits them.
Booking process for a consumer
Once the consumer selects the Book Now button, they follow a simple 4 step booking process.
Step 1 - Select Product type or package (accommodation, tour, hire car, houseboat or attraction)

Step 2 - Check availability

Consumer is able to select pick up location for tour.

Step 3 - Consumer agrees to your booking terms and conditions of use.

Step 4 - Consumer enters personal details and credit card number into a secure form.
Consumer is able to choose if they wish to receive emails from yourself or a third party.
All information collected here, excluding credit card details, goes into your ConnectSA database.

The booking is now confirmed and the consumer has the ability to print a tax invoice for their own records. The tax invoice is also automatically sent to the consumers email address.
From a tourism operators view, on confirmation of a booking you will receive an email and an SMS to your mobile phone. The booking will also appear on you status screen in ConnectSA.
This ensures that your tourism product is then blocked out for sale in the online environment via all ConnectSA enabled websites and booking centres.
